Edna E. Marte, 80, of Shippenville, passed away on Saturday, April 16, 2016 at the Clarion Hospital. She was born on March 20, 1936 in Leeper; the daughter of the former Wilber and Pearl Riggs Moore. Edna was married to the late Gerard “Jerry” Marte, who preceded her in death. She was a cook and a baker at the Bucktail Restaurant in Marienville and was well known for her pies. Edna was of the Methodist faith. She was an avid bingo player and enjoyed yard sales, flea markets, traveling, and being with family. Edna is survived by two sons, Bob Marte and his Fiancé Tammy Kline of Shippenviile and Joe Marte of Shippenville, one grandson, L.J. Marte of Ohio, four step grandchildren, Bob Wyant of Bedford, Aydrieauna, Koty, and Auna Kline all of Shippenville, five step great grandchildren, Colt Goodman, Naydien Switzer, Summer, Hannah, and Tabitha Wyant, a brother, Dave Moore and his wife Bonnie of Hottleville, and a sister, Dora Depew of Milford, Delaware. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and three brothers, Buster, Frank, and Bob Moore. Family will receive friends from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at the Robert V. Burns Funeral Home in Clarion. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, April 21, 2016 in the Funeral Home with the Rev. Roger A. Smith presiding. Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery. Donations can be made to the Funeral Home to help the family with expenses. Family will receive friends from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at the Robert V.
