William Kenneth McKibben Obituary

Mr. William Kenneth McKibben, 67, of Albany, passed away on Sunday, December 15, 2019. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 17, in the chapel of Hall and Hall Funeral Home. Rev. Eron White will officiate with interment to follow in Riverside Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. Born December 19, 1951, in Chattanooga, TN, Mr. McKibben was the son of the late Kenneth and Mary Witt McKibben. He proudly served his country in the United States Army and later went to work for Firestone Tire where he worked for many years until his retirement. Mr. McKibben attended Albany Baptist Church. He loved history and in his free time enjoyed researching genealogy. A loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother, he will be greatly missed by all. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Dorothy McKibben; three sons, Kristopher Rowsey, Noah Ippolito, and Benjamin Ippolito; three daughters, Alexandra Ippolito, Selena Ippolito, and Kaylee Ippolito; brother, Richard McKibben; sister, Robin Johnson and her husband Wayne; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project at 4899 Belfort Road, Suite 300, Jacksonville, FL 32256.
