Judith Louise Conrad Obituary

Judith Louise Conrad, age 72, of Marionville, Missouri, was born February 9, 1947, at home in Aurora, Missouri to Robert Lee Carl Clevenhagen and Eunice (Buster) Hankins Clevenhagen. The family moved to Marionville and she lived her entire life there until her health required the move to Lakewood Assisted Living in Springfield, Missouri. She left this earthly home for her heavenly one at 10:50 a.m. on December 13, 2019. Preceding her in death and waiting to greet her in heaven was her beloved husband Roy Conrad, both her parents and her son-in-law David Glenn. Judy fought an 18 year battle with multiple myeloma. She fought it with grace, strength, courage and stubbornness (of which she had an ample supply). She had a sharp wit and wasn’t afraid to skewer you with it if she thought you deserved it. Judy was Mom to four daughters and their husbands, Theresa and Craig Setzer of Republic, Missouri, Tracy Glenn and Chad Lammon of Nixa, Missouri, Tammy and Chris Hughes of Marionville, Bethany and Keith Boaz of Springfield and her only son and his wife Clinton and Jennifer Conrad of Warrensburg, Missouri. She also leaves behind her brother and his wife, Bob and Patty Clevenhagen of Washington Missouri, her sister and husband, Bethany and Mark Dameron of Springfield, one brother-in-law and his wife, Ron and Joann Conrad of The Villages, Florida, one sister-in-law, and her husband Debbie and Bobby Ogden of Willard, Missouri and many cousins and friends. She was Nana to 11 grandchildren on whom she absolutely doted, a loving G-Nana to 2 great-grandsons and Aunt Judy to her nieces and nephews. Judy is also survived by her special friend, Evie and also her divine Ya Yas, Carol Sue, Joyce, Kay and Ruth Ann, lifelong friends. A visitation will be held from 1:00-2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 17, 2019, at the Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home in Aurora, Missouri, with a funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow at the Marionville IOOF Cemetery. The family asks that instead of flowers or plants you remember and honor Judy with memorial donations to Phoenix Hospice In Time of Need program in care of the funeral home. The family wants to say thank you to the wonderful and caring staff at Lakewood. Judy was always treated with love and respect there and they were outstanding in the way they treated us as family as we gathered to be with Judy on her final journey. Words seem inadequate but they are sincerely spoken. Online condolences may be shared at this website.
