Cora Ruth Owens

Cora Ruth Owens, 83, of Waldron, Arkansas passed away on December 11, 2019 in Waldron. She was born April 2, 1936 in Cement, Oklahoma to the late Nollie Ernest and Anna Mae (Jones) Dyson. Cora is survived by her husband Jackie Owens of Waldron, Arkansas one son Richard Owens of Waldron, Arkansas, one brother Robert Glenn Dyson and wife Sherian, one sister-in-law Marilyn Dyson and by numerous nieces, nephews, friends and other family. She is preceded in death by her parents, one son Carl Gene Owens and one brother Luther Wyatt Dyson. Visitation will be Friday December 13, 2019 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Martin Funeral Home Chapel in Waldron. Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday December 14, 2019 at Union Hill Church with Rev. Ricky Hunt officiating. Burial will follow the service at Union Hill Cemetery under the direction of Martin Funeral Home in Waldron, Arkansas. Pallbearers will be Gary Huffman, Pepper Mitchell, Jerry Yandell, Todd Johnston, Steve Walsh and Billy Jo Hale.
