Lebanon, VA - Jerry Leon Wurm, age 85, went to be with the Lord, December 9, 2019 in Johnston Memorial Hospital. Born July 31, 1934, he was the son of the late Robert and Margaret Cooper Wurm. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife: Iris Miller Wurm and sister: Karol Tom. He is survived by his daughter: Candi Wurm; son: Randy Wurm and wife Barbara; sister: Jane Linnabary; grandchildren: Kayla Wiseman, Jade Wise, Devin Wurm, Kristen West, Thayer White and Carley Wurm; great grandchildren: Haley Hammond, Bentley Hammond and Aiden Davis; two step children; six step grandchildren; two step great grandchildren. Several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends also survive. Graveside service for Jerry Leon Wurm will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 13, 2019 in the Thompson Family Cemetery on Morning Star Circle, Lebanon, VA with the Rev. Rick Thompson officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Scott Thompson, Pedro Thompson, Jeff Thompson, Eddie Wiseman, Foster Layne and John Hammond.
