Elizabeth “Betty” Rose Wildrick Obituary

On Tuesday, December 10, 2019, Elizabeth “Betty” Rose (Catron) Wildrick passed away at the age of 82 at home with her family. Betty was born on April 26, 1937, in Indianapolis, IN. She was the 11th child of H. Russell and Osa M. (Swadner) Catron. Betty and her husband Don were married 66 years and were the proud parents of 5 children, 18 grandchildren, 47 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren. She was a member of Englewood Christian Church and Hunter Road Bible Church. Betty trusted in the Lord with all her heart. She was a devoted Christian who was a church nursery volunteer for over 26 years. Betty was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and aunt and she was a mother and grandmother figure to countless neighbors and friends. She loved to camp, fish and go mushroom hunting. Spending time with her family was her favorite thing to do. In addition to her parents, Betty is preceded in death by all of her siblings; her son, Aaron Wildrick; daughter in law, Sharon Wildrick; grandchildren, Haley Lightsey, Luke Maupin, Kendra Schoolcraft, and Kayden Patrick. Survivors include her loving husband, Donald Wildrick; children, Gary (Dianne) Wildrick, Barbara (Troy) Kirby, Wanda (Kevin) Dodd, Amy Wildrick Hart; and daughter-in-law, Mona Wildrick. Funeral services Indiana Funeral Care, Greenwood Chapel on Saturday, December 14, 2019, at 11 am, Visitation will be held at Indiana Funeral Care, 2433 E Main St. Greenwood, on Friday, December 13th, 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm.
