Wanda Lee Sherman

Wanda Lee Sherman, “Ana” of Weatherford passed away Friday, December 11, 2015 in a nursing facility. Wanda was born May 25, 1935 in Bairds Fork, WV to Earl and Birdie Wilkinson Friddle. She retired from TCU as a computer technician. She was a member of Spring Creek Baptist Church and the Eastern Star. Wanda is preceded in death by her parents, husband Joe Sherman, brothers, Pete Friddle and John Friddle and half-sister Wynona. Survivors: siblings, Earl Friddle, Leta Dewvall, Naomi Stewart, Ted Friddle, Jim Friddle and Joe Friddle; seven nieces, 13 nephews, 23 great nieces and nephews and 5 or more great great nieces and nephews all of who she loved and treated as her own children and grandchildren. Funeral: 1:00 PM, Thursday, December 17, 2015 at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel with Rev. Brad Moore officiating. Visitation: 6-8 PM, Wednesday at the funeral home.

Wanda was such a sweet lady, dear friend, and neighbor. We used to take dinners to her and have wonderful visits. We will surely miss her. Our deepest sympathy and prayers to all of her family.
