Mary Virginia Puidokas

Mary Virginia Puidokas, age 96 of Bloomfield Hills, passed away on December 7th, 2019, in the presence of her loving family. She was born in Norfolk, VA on October 15th, 1923, to Harry Bybee and Lucile Bybee, nee. Perryman. She married Stanley Puidokas on February 15th, 1952. In 1953 they moved to Kenosha, WI where they raised their family of two children. In 1975 Stanley and Mary Virginia moved to Bloomfield Hills, MI. They enjoyed ballroom dancing and music. Mary Virginia loved spending time with her family and knitting. Each day she would set out to make at least one person smile. She would do this every day with the staff at Devonshire Retirement Village where she received wonderful care and love for four and a half years. Mary Virginia is survived by her son Vic (Debbie) Puidokas of Lapeer, MI; daughter Lucile Puidokas Glomb of Woodbridge, VA; her three grandchildren: Christopher Puidokas, Alex Glomb, and Emily Glomb; her niece Lucy Portlock; her nephew Bill (Nancy) Portlock. Mary Virginia was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Stanley Puidokas; her sister Lucile Portlock and her brother Harry Bybee. Arrangements for cremation have been entrusted to Lynch & Sons Funeral Directors - Capstick Chapel in Lapeer.
