Lisa Kay Gibbs, 55, of Jacinto City, passed from this life June 4, 2016. Lisa was born December 07, 1960 in Texarkana, Arkansas. She worked as a secretary for a local answering service. She was an early morning person who loved her coffee and afternoon Dr. Pepper's; she loved reading and watching scary movies; she loved spending time with her grandchildren and family and her beloved dog, Charlie. She is preceded in death by her parents, Willard L. Shuptrine Sr. and Annie L. Shuptrine, by infant daughter, Shawna Marie Gibbs and by two brothers, Robert Lewis Shuptrine and David Craig Shuptrine. She is survived by her sons, Jason Gibbs & wife, Yvonne and Michael Gibbs; by their father, Robert Michael Gibbs; by grandchildren, Adalyn Gibbs and Kaysen Gibbs and by brother, Willard Shuptrine, Jr. & wife, Sherrie; as well as by numerous nieces, nephews, other family and many friends. A visitation and service will be held Thursday evening, June 9, 2016 at Carter Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with services celebrating her life to start at 7:00 p.m.
