Arlene Schultz

Arlene L. Schultz, 92, of Harleysville, passed away December 2, 2019. She was the widow of Loren A. Schultz. Born in Minneapolis, MN, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Mabel (Wallin) Hagen. Arlene was athletic and loved being in nature and the wilderness. She was an avid bird watcher. She volunteered at various nature centers, such as Peace Valley Nature Center, in Doylestown, as well as locations in Florida where she lived for 25 years. She enjoyed volunteering at her church, wherever she was living. Arlene was a line dancer. She also enjoyed traveling, especially as a solo traveler to elder hostels around the world. Surviving are children: David, and his wife, Susan, of Cape May, NJ; Jo Ann, wife of Terry Zeigler, of Schwenksville; and Donald, of Marlton, NJ; a brother, Robert Hagen, and his wife, Mary, of Bloomington, MN; grandchildren: Jenelle (Dennis), Justin (Mary), and Jared (Heather); and great-grandchildren: Kylie, Libby, Amelia, Logan, Maddie, and Cole. She was pre-deceased by a sister, Doris Thompson. A Celebration of Her Life will be at 2:00 PM on January 7, 2020 at Arbour Square, 695 Main Street, Harleysville, PA 19438.
