Evelyn Olguin

Evelyn Vigil Olguin was born on March 26, 1948 in Las Vegas, NM and passed away on December 2, 2019 in Albuquerque, NM. Evelyn is preceded in death by her father Pedro Vigil, her mother, Theresa Tapia Vigil, son James Ewing McDaniel, and sisters Diana Vigil Morgan and Gloria Vigil Kotschwar. She is survived by her daughter Robyn Theresa Vossen (Olguin), granddaughters Roxanne Vossen and Jaynee Vossen, sisters Deborah Vigil Kieltyka (husband Joe), Angela Vigil Garcia (husband Phillip), and brother Pedro Vigil, Jr. Evelyn was a devoted mother and grandmother. She owned a child care center for many years and loved working with children. She later worked for Albuquerque Public Schools and retired in 2011. Evelyn loved to bake for her family and she crocheted beautiful, cherished blankets for her family. She was a bright light in the lives of her family and her smile and laughter will be remembered always. December 7, 2019.
