Clifford Lee “Cliff” Anderson, Sr, 58, of Palatka, passed away on Monday, December 2, 2019 at his home following an extended illness. A native of Jacksonville, he resided in Putnam County for 49 years coming here from the Clay County and Duval County areas. Cliff worked 12 years at Central States Diversified and then for 18 years as a machine operator in the tissue converting division at Georgia Pacific. He was an avid Gator football fan as well as NASCAR with his favorite driver being Dale Earnhardt, Sr. Cliff also enjoyed fishing, watching wrestling with his daughter and spending quality time with family, especially his granddaughter. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jacob D. Anderson, Sr. and Willie Cee Johnson Anderson, a sister, Joyce Bradley and a brother, Jacob “Jay” Anderson. Cliff is survived by his wife of 37 years, Della B. Anderson of Palatka, 2 sons, Clifford Lee Anderson, Jr. (Nicole) of Goodyear, AZ and Anthony Michael Anderson of Palatka, a daughter, Katie Anderson of Palatka, 4 sisters, Cheryl Bryan (Jay) of Fernandina Bch, Cathy Mariano (Freddie), Louise Tyson and Barbara Bradley, all of Jacksonville, a granddaughter, Gabrielle Anderson, numerous nieces and nephews, his mother-in-law, Katie Bellamy of Palatka and sister-in-law, Debbie Miller of Palatka and brother-in-law, David Bellamy (Sabina) of Nevada. Services will be at 3:00 P.M. Saturday, December 7, 2019 at Johnson-Overturf Chapel in Palatka with Bro. Scott Coulliette officiating. Burial will follow at Palatka Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Saturday from 2:00 P.M. until the time of services at 3:00 P.M.
