Ruben Quinones Lara Sr. April 26, 1943 - November 22, 2019 Ruben suddenly passed on Friday, November 22, resulting from injuries suffered in a car crash. Ruben is survived by his wife Maria, sons Ruben Jr. & Jaime Sr. (Liliana), and daughters Sandra, Vivian (Mike), Patty (Keith), Donna (Michael). Ruben was a proud grandfather to (14) and great grandfather to (20). Along with numbered nieces and nephews. Ruben served in the Air Force and raised his family in the Houston, TX area. Ruben worked as a machinist for most of his life, owning his own business - Aztec Machining, Inc. He had a love for classic cars, making art out of several old junkers. In his retirement years Ruben and Maria traveled the U.S in a fifth-wheel trailer, taking in the sights of the country he swore to defend. Ruben's life will be celebrated by family and friends on Saturday, December 7, 2019 at 12:00 p.m. at the Rosewood Funeral Home in Atascocita, 17404 W. Lake Houston Pkwy. Humble, TX 77346
