Dakota Walthall Moorpark, California Obituary

Dakota Walthall

The beautiful Dakota Rose Walthall was born on July 28, 1995 in Thousand Oaks, CA and passed on November 25, 2019 in Lancaster, CA. She is survived by her father Chris, her mother Suzette, and her two brothers, Braden and Cooper. She graduated Class of 2013 with honors at Cleburne High School in Cleburne, TX. She continued her studies at Pierce College in Woodland Hills, CA followed by becoming a certified Registered Phlebotomy Technician in the state of Maryland, then coming back to California and getting her certification through UCLA for all 50 states. She loved painting and her music. She also loved animals so much she wanted to be a part time dog walker so she could love all the doggies. She loved anything outdoors, camping, hiking, swimming, and any kind of off-road sports. She loved shopping, drinking iced coffees, taking road trips, and especially loved getting mani-pedis with her daddy. She also loved the occasional Red Bull. Nothing flattered her more than when people would think that she and her younger brother Braden were twins, and she was always eager to hear her brother Cooper's stories, especially he claimed he knew how to read minds. Dakota was enthusiastic about so many things and always gave with her whole heart, but she was also a very private person as well. Like any 24 year old girl, she had to learn things for herself, she truly walked her own path. She was brave, kind, and courageous, and rarely took no for an answer. She had an amazing work ethic and never had a problem making friends whether at work, in the community, or just walking down the street,. She could often be heard making remarks such as "Awe Crap" or "OK Hamflower" or speaking in a goofy Russian accent. She lit up a room with her smile and put you in stitches with her laugh. We hope you can feel the sunshine now, Princess. Your love and light will forever be missed.
