Seward Resident, Mr. Thomas C. Kelley, 77, died Sunday, Nov. 17, 2019 at his home in Seward with his wife by his side. Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, Dec. 2, 2019 at The Seward Masonic Cemetery in Seward. Following the graveside service, a potluck and sharing time will be held at the Glacier View Apartment Complex in Seward. Pallbearers will include; John Spurr, Brad and Michelle, Rob, James Wolsterman and Many Friends. Thomas was born June 30, 1942 in Chicago, Illinois. He moved to Alaska in the 1970’s living in Seward. He worked for the Seward Ships Chandlery in the early 80’s and VECO – North Slope in the Mid to Late 80’s. Thomas retired in the early 90’s. The family wrote, “Tom was loved by many and was good to all. He lived a joyous life and loved to share that joy with others. He will be remembered very fondly and missed always.” He was preceded in death by his sister, Eileen Tofta and brother, Si Kelley. He is survived by his wife, Donna Kelley of Seward; son, Thomas Kelly, Jr. of Springfield, Missouri and daughters, Carla Kelley and Louise Kelley both of Illinois.
