James "Jim" Jones

James "Jim" Rex Jones, 82 of Sparta, Tennessee passed from this life on Friday, November 22, 2019, at Standing Stone Care & Rehabilitation Center in Monterey, Tennessee. Jim was born Thursday, February 11, 1937, in Sparta, Tennessee and he was the son of the late James Andrew and the late Gilla (Pippin) Jones. Jim is survived by, Wife Angela Jones; 5 Children, Allen and Lora Jones, Robin Bruce, Jeffrey and Lori Jones, Regina Jones, and Jason Jones; 4 Brothers, Bobby Jack Jones, Kenneth Jones, Ronald Jones, and David Jones; 2 Sisters, Ida Blunkal, and Mary Jane Taylor; A host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and special friends. In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by his first wife, Joeann Jones; 3 Sisters, Barbara Moore, Hilda Cantrell, and Sue Mitchell; 3 Brothers, John Paul Jones, Charles Jones, and Boyd Wade. Memorial Services for James "Jim" Rex Jones will be held Wednesday, November 27, 2019, from 3:30 pm until 6:30 pm at Plainview Freewill Baptist Church in Sparta, Tennessee.
