Robert Allen Sanders

Robert Sanders, age 66, passed away November 21, 2019 in Conroe, Texas. Graveside services are planned for 1 P.M., Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at Willowhole Cemetery near North Zulch. A brief visitation will take place before the service Tuesday from 10 A.M. to 12 Noon at Madisonville Funeral Home in Madisonville, Texas. Robert Allen Sanders was born July 17, 1953 in Freeport, Texas to Allen “Al” & Evelyn (Bennett) Sanders. He served his country in the U.S. Army and worked as a driller in the oilfield industry. He had lived in Conroe for the past six years and was a member of The Ark Church. Robert enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching sports and playing the guitar. He loved bar-b-que and smoking brisket. Robert was an excellent gardener. Most notably, he loved his family and spending time with them. Robert was preceded in death by his mother, Evelyn Sanders, step-mother, Leona Sanders and step- brother, Leo Dill. He is survived by father, Al Sanders; sons, Clyne Sanders of Conroe and Randall Sanders of Austin; daughter, Melissa Hailey of Conroe; brother, Terry Sanders (Kim) of Madisonville and sister, Kathy Handy (Noble) of Millican. Step-Siblings; Lola Padgett, Berry Martinez, Kimmie Portz, Joseph Dill & Ruth Dill. He is also survived by grandchildren, Naythan Hailey, Justin Hailey and Christian Perez and great-grandchild, Madelyn Hailey. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Willowhole Cemetery Association. Madisonville Funeral Home in Madisonville, Texas is entrusted with arrangements.
