John had unmatched artistic imagination together with a joie de vivre. We greatly enjoyed our times with John and Ann in Providence, Little Compton and Fairhaven.

Dear Alice and Family, We send our deepest sympathy. John's warm personality, unique artistic gifts, and wry humor made a great contribution to the vividness of the world. He was a dear friend. We're very sorry we've been out of touch for so long. With much love. B&O
