Sharon L. Dodd, 78, of Hot Springs, passed away November 22, 2019. She was born August 9, 1941 in Evanston, Illinois to Frank and Charlotte (Swain) Dirr. Sharon was a 1959 graduate of Hot Springs High School and attended Stephens College in Columbia, Missouri. She retired from sales in real estate. Sharon was a member of the Hot Springs National Park Kennel Club where she served as president for several years, and was an expert in teaching obedience classes. Sharon loved spending time with her grandchildren and her furry four legged friends. She is predeceased by her parents and son, Dale Dodd. Loving survivors include her husband of 58 years, Derrel Dodd; son, Gregg (Renae) Dodd; grandchildren, Dustin Dodd, Dalton Dodd and their mother, Tammy, Dylan Dodd, and Sidney Dodd; brother, Frank Dirr; sister, Susan Dirr Swain; and her dear friend, Pam Gillespie. There will be no service per Sharon's request.
