Mrs. Allene Callahan, age 91, of Canton, passed away Thursday, November 21, 2019 at her residence. Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Sunday, November 24, 2019 at the Sosebee Memorial Chapel with Rev. Joe Dover officiating. Interment will follow in Lebanon Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, November 23rd from 11:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. and Sunday, November 24th one hour prior to the funeral service. Mrs. Callahan loved her family and enjoyed flowers, farming and gardening. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dorsey Callahan. Allene is survived by her children, Ronnie Callahan and Shirley Pruitt; grandchildren, Jason Callahan and Jessica Callahan McNure; and several nieces and nephews.
