Bonnie Edwards Kelley Kinney Toccoa, Georgia Mrs. Bonnie Edwards Kelley Kinney, age 93 of Toccoa went home to be with her Lord, surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, November 19, 2019. A daughter of the late Harve Edwards and Viola Cuie Arrowood Edwards, she was born October 6, 1926 in Hiawassee, Towns County, Georgia. After her marriage to Lee Kelley, the father of her four children, they moved to Toccoa where she lived the rest of her life. She was employed with Toccoa Manufacturing where she retired. After her retirement, she loved gardening, fishing and watching the Braves. She loved her friend “Cody”. She was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Edward and Gail Kelley of Baldwin; three daughters and sons-in-law, Mary Lee and Ed Barrett of Gainesville, Barbara and Donald Adams and Becky and Bruce Simmons both of Toccoa; a brother who was reared in the home, Ward Edwards and wife Frankie of Greenville, South Carolina; sister, Lucille Childers of Lafayette, Georgia; nine grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren and one on the way; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Friday, November 22, 2019, 2 O’clock p.m. in the Hillcrest Chapel of the Acree-Davis Funeral Home with The Reverend Dr. Tommy Childress and The Reverend Ricky McFarlin officiating. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers, Gerald Adams, David Kelley, Ben Hulsey, Jeffrey Simmons, Shane Simmons, Kirkland Simmons, C.J. Kastner and Morgan Simmons and other grandchildren to serve as honorary pallbearers. The family will be at their respective homes and will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Thursday, 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.acree-davisfh.com. The family wishes to express their appreciation to Amedisys Hospice, especially Shannon, Eva and Jessica and to Tugalo Home Health for the care given to their loved one. Interment will follow in the Zebulon Baptist Church Cemetery with the Acree-Davis Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements for Mrs. Bonnie Edwards Kelley Kinney.
