Willie Walker Coffey, age 95, passed away Tuesday November 19, 2019 at Berea Health & Rehabilitation in Berea, KY. Willie was born July 31, 1924 in Rockcastle County to the late James and Lula Potter Coffey. Willie was an avid storyteller. Telling stories about his youth and growing up. In his younger days, he would ride a bicycle from Berea to Hazard to visit family. Then as most would remember he traveled by moped everywhere he went. Willie attended Narrow Way Church of God in Jesus Name. Other than his parents Willie was preceded in death by his siblings, Lucy Knuckles, John Coffey, Leonard Coffey, George Coffey, Twin- Andrew Coffey, and Stanley Coffey. Willie is survived by numerous Nieces, Nephews and many friends. Funeral services will be 11:00am Friday November 22, 2019 at Davis & Powell Funeral Home with Bro. John Gross officiating.
