Ruth Helen Evans Lawrence, 93 of Louisville passed away, November 16, 2019 at Nazareth Home- Clifton. She was born May 29, 1926 in Grayson, Kentucky to the late Thomas and Margaret Evans. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Marshall Lawrence; a sister, Annabelle Womack; son-in-law, Dr. Barry Amyx; a great grandchild, Margaret Lee Brown. She is survived by her sons, Marshall Lawrence III, Cordell Lawrence (Beverly); daughters, Deborah Thomason (Steven), Catherine Amyx, Margaret Smith (Ed); a sister, Mary Catherine Hutton; 14 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren. Visitation will be 12-1 p.m., Saturday, November 23, 2019 at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd., Louisville, KY 40205. Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m., Saturday at the funeral home with burial following at Louisville Memorial Gardens East.
