Donnie Dupree Moore

Donnie Dupree Moore, 76, resident of Greenwood, husband of Martha Latham Moore, passed away Saturday, November 16, 2019, at Hospice & Palliative Care of the Piedmont. Born October 28, 1943, in Ware Shoals, he was the son of Lucille Shaw Moore and the late Edward Moore. He was a 1961 graduate of Ware Shoals High School and a 1965 graduate of Clemson University. Mr. Moore retired from Cass Info of Greenville and was formerly employed with Parke-Davis and Professional Medical Products of Greenwood. A member of New Journey (Hyde Park) Baptist Church, he was also a long-time member of IPTAY and the Ware Shoals Golf Club Seniors Group. Surviving in addition to his wife of 57 years and mother of Ware Shoals, are a son, Todd Moore of Greenville; a daughter, Kimberly M. and husband Rev. Todd Staples of Concord, NC; a sister, Billie Jean and husband Herman Crawford of Ware Shoals; a grandson, Sam Staples of Concord, NC and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 am Wednesday at the Blyth Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Herman Bradley and Rev. Todd Staples officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be William Phillips, Al West, Dan Bowen, Bruce Taylor, Larry Silvers, Sonny Dotson and Larry Loftis. The family is at the home and will receive friends at the funeral home from 10 to 11 Wednesday morning. Memorials may be made to Hospice & Palliative Care of the Piedmont, 408 W. Alexander Avenue, Greenwood, SC 29646.
