Fuquay-Varina – Feliciano Delgado, 70 passed away on November 16th, 2019 surrounded by family and friends. He was born on November 11th 1949 in Las Matas de Farfan, Dominican Republic to parents Feliciano Delgado and Fausta Puello. Feliciano joined the Dominican Army Forces on February 19th, 1971. He remained in the Forces until March 15th, 1991, celebrating a successful retirement after 20 years of service with the rank of Army Sergeant Mayor. Feliciano was an active member of the Lion club of Santo Domingo Este for more than 20 years, participating with the many projects and charity events he was also a big supporter of the fight against Pancreatic cancer. He married Sofia, the love of his life in 1969, who survives him. Feliciano and Sofia created four beautiful children: Gregoria, Damian (Nelly), Ada (Jerry), Carmen (Dave). Feliciano was known for his love for his grandchildren: Gregory, John, Sophia, Adacelys, Luigi, Luis Ruben, Natalie, and Joseph. He has 37 nieces and nephews all combined and another son: Alexander Delgado. Feliciano was predeceased by parents Feliciano Delgado and Fausta Puello and older sister Gabina Delgado. Feliciano grew up in a large, loving family with seven sisters: Gabina, Dionisia, Matilde (Labuena), Digna (Elsa), Martina, Leonarda (Doña), Ana Silvia (China), and one brother, Anacleto (Fausto). Also surrounded by many aunts and uncles. Feliciano lived a very happy and full life together with his loved one. The family will be receiving friends from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Friday, November 22, 2019 at Thomas Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. at Thomas Funeral Home Chapel, Fuquay-Varina.  Interment will follow the service at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. The family would like to express their thanks to the people that help us through this journey as follow western wake nurses, doctor and staff, Duke Cancer Center of Raleigh, Amedysis Hospice Home Care Team, Universal Health Care Of Lillington, Walmart and Benzer Pharmacy and all the family and friends that are always there for us, specially our pastoral family Following the service the family is receiving freinds at 191 Brendamoore Ct Fuquay-Varina.
