In Loving Memory
of
Dorothy Frances Einarson (nee Gomme)
November 5th, 1925-February 21st, 2015
Born in Trois-Revieres, Quebec in 1925. She grew up in High Falls (Worthington) before becoming a long-time resident of Sudbury. The loving daughter of John Gomme and Bertha Gudbjorg Rosa Gomme (Fredricksson) both predeceased. Married in 1948 to Wallace “Steina” Einarson (predeceased). Remembered by her sons Erik and Peter (wife Kim). Sadly missed by her grandchildren Corey and Karley. Dear sister of John Gomme (wife Mary) both predeceased and June McKitrick (husband Bob). Special aunt to David McKitrick and Kerry Kennedy. Dorothy belonged to Beta Sigma Phi, Sudbury Chapter for over 50 years. She had a great love of gardening, reading and antique hunting, summers with family and friends at camp and her furry feline friends Rolo and Bokki. Proud member of the Icelandic community. Dorothy will be missed by her many close friends at the Walford Retirement Home where she resided for the last 8 years. Special thanks to the staff at Health Sciences North and to Rob Szymanski who went over and above for our mother.
