Hugh West Harralson, age 57, passed away Saturday, November 16, 2019 surrounded by his family at the Linda E. White Hospice House in Evansville, Indiana. Hugh was born in Princeton, Kentucky May 23, 1962 and was of the Methodist faith. He was a graduate of The McCallie School in Chattanooga, Tennessee and Centre College in Danville, Kentucky. Hugh was an avid golfer, artist and scholar. His proudest accomplishment was being a stay-at home dad when his boys were young. Hugh is survived by his parents Don C. and Judy West Harralson of Princeton and Sanibel Island, Florida; two sons, Adam Harralson of St. Louis, Nevin Harralson of Nashville; one sister, Elizabeth Slattery and husband Steve, of Nashville; two granddaughters, Alana Harralson, Amarie Harralson of Aurora, Illinois; best friend and mother of his children, Patricia Harralson of Evansville. He was preceded in death by his brother, Don C. Harralson, Jr.; infant siblings Catherine and Mark Harralson, paternal grandparents, Mary Agnes and Grayson Harralson; maternal grandparents Geneva and Norman West. Visitation will be held at Morgan’s Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 20, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. until service time. Funeral services will be held at Morgan’s Funeral Home at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Shelley Caulder officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Charitable donations may be made in Hugh’s memory to Linda E. White Hospice House, 611 Harriet Street, Evansville, IN 47710.
