Byron Peterson
Byron Scott Peterson, age 50, 170 Brown Lane, Erwin passed away at his residence on Tuesday, February 17, 2015. He was a lifelong resident of Unicoi County and the son of Morris Glenn and Pauline J. Hensley Peterson. Byron was a former employee of Eastman, worked in restaurant management, was an electrician and a skilled auto mechanic. He was of the Pentecostal Faith. Other than his parents, Byron leaves behind to cherish his memory one sister, Cheri M. Peterson Arthur and husband, David of Raleigh, NC; two nephews: Joseph Glenn Arthur of Palo Alto, CA and Aaron Arthur of Raleigh, NC. Several Uncles, Aunts and cousins also survive. The family will receive friends on Friday, February 20, 2015 at the Robert Ledford Funeral Home Chapel from 12 noon until service time. Reverend Cas Horton and Reverend Joe Arthur will officiate at the 1:30 P.M. funeral service. Music will be provided by Reverend and Mrs. Cas Horton and Inez Chandler. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Committal service will follow in the McInturff Cemetery, Erwin.
