Tommy E. Moore went to his Heavenly Home on November 9, 2019. Tommy was born in Kennett, Missouri April 3, 1939. He married Wilodene Weatherly on January 4, 1958 in Clarkton, Missouri. He is survived by his wife, Wilodene of the home; daughter, Trish Smith of Kennett, Missouri; son, Mark (Tina) Moore of Knoxville, Tennessee; sister, Lavern Smith of Nixa, Missouri; brothers, Joe (Joanna) Moore of Jackson, Tennessee, Gary Moore of Nixa, Missouri; grandchildren, Keri Smith Campbell of Kennett, Missouri, Paige (Mike) Smith Crafton of Bragg City, Missouri, Lauren (Jonathan) Smith Chambers of Woodward, Oklahoma, Keylee Rain Dillon, Jake Moore and Jayden Moore of Knoxville; great grandchildren, Lindsay and Alyssa Crafton of Bragg City, Missouri, Dallas and Addison Campbell of Kennett, Missouri, Paisley Grace Chambers of Woodward, Oklahoma; sisters-in-law, Gene Bennett of Gillette, Wyoming, Betty Moore of Tupelo, Mississippi. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jude and Carrie Moore; sister, Carol Warren and brother, L. R. Moore; son-in-law, Tony D. Smith; brothers-in-law, Earl Smith, Wyman D. Bennett, Monny (Junior) Weatherly, Jim (Doc) Weatherly and E. E. (Doke) Weatherly. Tommy was a member of West Park Baptist Church. He loved cars and was always looking for a “trade”. In fact, he traded cars over sixty times in his life-time. His dream came true when we owned and operated a car wash in the last years before retirement. Tommy spent 40 years in Kennett, Missouri. After retirement, moved to Cherokee Village, Arkansas and on to Mountain Home, Arkansas. In July 2016, moved to Knoxville to be near his son, Mark and family. Tommy was a quiet man but loved his Savior Jesus Christ and his family and friends. He always thought of others before himself. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. on Tuesday at the Click Funeral Home Middlebrook Chapel with a Celebration of Life to follow at 11 a.m. with Rev. Jonathan Chambers and Rev. Al Cage officiating. Interment will follow in Piney Grove Cemetery.
