Mrs. Dona Diane (Carter) Cole

Mrs. Dona Diane (Carter) Cole, age 72, of Douglasville, Georgia (Douglas County) passed away on Saturday, November 9, 2019 at her residence. Mrs. Cole was born in Dallas, Georgia on August, 27, 1947 to Mr. Richard Donald Carter and Mrs. Nellie Susie Ellen (Guyton) Carter. She worked for many years as a registered nurse. She was preceded in death by her son, Mr. Tim Cole; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Richard (Nellie Guyton) Carter; her grandson, Mr. Brody James Cole and her brother, Mr. Donald "H.L." Carter. Mrs. Cole is survived by her husband of more than 53 years, Mr. Tim Cole; her son, Mr. Don (Tonya) Cole; her daughter, Ms. Melissa "Missy" Cole; her grandchildren, Jacob Carter Cole, Trey Cole and Logan Cole; her sister, Mrs. Sue Wisener; her daughter-in-law, Mrs. Bobbi Jo Cole and her nieces and nephews. A visitation for Mrs. Cole will be held on Sunday, November 10, 2019 from 4:00PM - 8: 00PM at Benson Funeral Home. She will be cremated following the visitation. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes for donations to be made to Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.
