Alfred Jamie Wood

Alfred Jamie Wood – 63 of Middletown, NJ passed away suddenly on November 4, 2019. Jamie was born on February 10, 1956 in Staten Island, NY. He graduated High School and met his wife Mary Ellen. Jamie worked as a operations manager at NYU Langone in New York City. He lived and raised his family in Staten Island, NY before finally settling down in Middletown, NJ. Jamie is predeceased by his parents Paul and Doris Wood as well as his Aunts and Uncles Betty and Jack Dunn and Peggy and Joe Kiernan. He is the beloved husband of Mary Ellen for 35 wonderful years. Jamie is the devoted father to Elizabeth. He is the loving brother to James Robie, Mary Doris, Joanne, Paul, Peter, Jody, and Bronwyn. Jamie had many joys in life. Some of which were the Yankees whom he loved to watch. Jamie was known for his sense of humor especially his one liners. He was truly a proud American and loved spending precious time with his family and he will truly be missed by all who knew him.

Jamie will be reposing at the Evergreen Memorial Funeral Home on Thursday & Friday November 7 & 8 2019 from 7 – 9pm and 2 – 4pm & 7 – 9pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday November 9, 2019 at 9:15am at St. Mary’s Chapel 26 Leonardville Rd, New Monmouth, NJ 07748. Interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Staten Island.
