Henry Williams Obituary

Our good and faithful servant fought a good fight of faith and finished his course. Mr. Henry A. Williams, “ Pinky”, transitioned from his earthy home to his heavenly mansion on Monday, November 4, 2019 at the age of 62 years. He was born on June 21, 1957 in Saginaw, Michigan to Lazree and Corine Williams. Henry was educated in Saginaw Public Schools, graduating from Saginaw High School, “Class of 1976.” He retired from the General Motors Corporation Powertrain Assembly Plant in Bay City, Michigan after 35 years of faithful service. Henry was a faithful member of Faith Harvest Church, where he actively served on the usher board for as long as his health allowed. His bubbly personality touched the hearts of many. He loved the Word of God and spending quality time with his Lord. He enjoyed listening to Christian music. He was a sports enthusiast who loved all sports, traveling and spending time with family and friends. Henry was a man of faith and a family man. He was a man of purpose, conviction and vision. A faithful husband, devoted father, loving grandfather, protective brother, and loyal friend are just a few of his attributes. He leaves us with a legacy of love and that legacy will forever live on. Henry married his one and only wife, Wilnita “Nita” Reynolds, whom he referred to as the love of his life. He would have given the world if he could, but he gave her everything he had. She survives him along with five of their six loving and beautiful children; the sons he loved so much, Cordney Williams, Demarcus Reynolds, Billy Broaden, all of Saginaw, Michigan, Thamaine Williams, Little Rock, Arkansas; and one daughter, Brittany Williams of Saginaw, Michigan. Henry also leaves precious memories with his grandchildren, Amore Williams, Jeffrey Reynolds Jr., Jada Reynolds, Travell Conway, Kori Ferguson-Reynolds, Sha’Quavia Broaden, Pashion Broaden, Jahnessa Kosecki, Montez Collins; brothers, Lazree Williams, Saginaw, Michigan, Ben (Marsha) Williams, Auburn Hills, Michigan, Van “Puncho” Williams Sr., Sterling Heights, Michigan; sisters, Mary “Mae” Williams, Ruby (Johnny) Davis, both of Saginaw, Michigan; Henry was also blessed to have nine additional sisters, Fatima, Linda, Erika, Charika , Latasha, Shantell, Jamie Williams, Tiffany (Kevin) Tatum, Shalamar (Jeremy) Fall; special nieces, Rhonda Raymore, Harper Woods, Michigan, Reyana Mason, Detroit, Michigan; special nephews, Van “Punchie” Williams, Jr., Ben Williams, Jr., both of Saginaw, Michigan; uncle, Sunny (Opal) Coleman, Saginaw, Michigan; special aunt, Queen (Phelix ) Williams, Gary, Indiana; brothers-in-law, Dwight P. Morgan, Florissant, Missouri, Kenneth (Barbara) Reynolds, Barnes (Latia ) Reynolds, all of Saginaw, Michigan; sisters-in-law, Reverend Rita (JT) Truss, Saginaw, Michigan, Stephanie Reynolds Mason, Harper Woods, Michigan, Glenda Cross, Lansing, Michigan; goddaughter, Akira (Kory) Robinson, Saginaw, Michigan. God loved Henry so much, he handpicked an extraordinary group of people to love him unconditionally, including Kenneth Reynolds & JT Truss: the help they provided, without wavering was ordained by God. Rita Truss, Stephanie Mason, Pastor Evelyn Wesley-Allen, Glenda Cross, Minister Greg Baugh, Reverend Lee (Joanne) Thomas, their acts of love were heart felt and holy ghost filled. They covered Henry with their prayers along with our Faith Harvest Church Family. Henry was preceded in death by his attentive father, Lazree Williams, Sr.; a special son he loved immensely, Jeffrey Reynolds Sr.; mother-in-law that he believed could do no harm, Geraldine M. Reynolds; an aunt he cherished dearly, Maple Abrahams; many uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends. The family would like to express a very special gratitude to our traveling buddies and party soldiers, The Crew - Bill & Geraldine Doxie, Ozzie & Patricia Brummell, Robert & Dorothy Foster, all of Saginaw, Michigan; Dr. Senthil Ramaiyah, MD, MRCP and the entire Kidney & Hypertension Consultant Group, Dr. Bilal Bazzi, MD, Latoya Woods-Williams, NP, Silverwood Family Medicine, Mary Free Bed Staff, Covenant Healthcare Staff, Ivan E.
