YORK – Yvonne Rudy, 73, passed away unexpectedly Friday, April 15, 2016 at her home. Funeral services will be private. Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion is in charge of arrangements. Born March 8, 1943 in McKinleyville, WV, the daughter of the late Anthony and Sara Kovacevich Rudy. Yvonne graduated from Bethany WV High School in 1961 and came to York shortly thereafter. Yvonne retired from Century 21 Heritage Realty in 1998 after many years of service and enjoyed traveling the world. Above all, she loved spending time with her family and friends. Those of us who had the privilege to know and love her will remember her as a true and generous friend and confidant. Miss Rudy is survived by a brother, Louis Mamula of Lowellville, OH; beloved niece, Deborah Hull and nephew-in law, Dale Hull; great niece, Jennifer Hull McKinley and great nephew, Adam Hull and two great great nieces and two great great nephews; and her closest dearest friend, Lois Gable. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Melvin Mamula and George Rudy; and a sister, Helen Smith.
