Georgia Radford

Georgia Lee Willis Radford, age 89, formerly of Erwin, passed away on Monday, November 4, 2019 at the Agape Healthcare Center. She lived most of her life in Unicoi County. Georgia is a daughter of the late Dave and Myrtle Jones Willis. She was a homemaker. Georgia was of the Baptist Faith. She was a talented musician and enjoyed playing her guitar, banjo and autoharp. Georgia loved making music and singing. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, sister and friend. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Pamela Duncan Effler; husband, Dean Radford; five brothers and seven sisters. Georgia leaves behind to cherish her memory, four sons: Jerry Duncan (Charlotte), Unicoi, Randy Duncan, Jonesborough, Johnny Duncan, Erwin, Keith Duncan (Angel), Erwin; two daughters: Connie Carter (Kim), Jonesborough and Sheila Jones (Kevin), Lawton, OK; thirteen grandchildren: Joey Duncan (Jessica), Terry Duncan (Jessica), Christy Cross (David), Tammy Maldonado, Bobby Jones (Nicole), Cam Carter (Stephanie), Jason Duncan, Michelle Effler, Erik Arnett, Katie Arnett, Tiffany Sluder (Dakota), Craig Duncan (Melissa) and Chad Duncan; nineteen great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive from 5:00-7:00 PM on Thursday, November 7, 2019 at the Robert Ledford Funeral Home Chapel. Brother Jeff Autrey will officiate at the 7:00 PM funeral service. Committal will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday in the Evergreen Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Joey Duncan, Terry Duncan, Cam Carter, Ben Carter, Erik Arnett and Craig Duncan. Everyone is asked to meet at the funeral home by 10:30 AM on Friday to go in procession to the cemetery.
