David Ray Schmitz, 63, of Pickens, SC formerly of Kenna passed away Monday, November 4, 2019 at AnMed Health Medical Center in Anderson, SC. He was born May 14, 1956 at Kenna, WV a son of Juanita White McClung and the late Tom Schmitz. He owned and operated his own hood cleaning business, Bes-Clean for 18 year. He enjoyed talking politics, going to the drag strip, sitting on the porch and swimming. He is survived by his son Jefferson Schmitz (Kacie) of Pickens, SC; mother Juanita McClung of Akron, OHsister Janie Woods of Pomeroy, OH; Uncle Bill Harris of Mississippi. He is also survived by his two Dobermans, Loka and Ledie. Graveside service will be held 2p.m. Friday, November 8, 2019 at the White Cemetery Kentuck with Pastor Aaron Melhorn officiating.
