Carol Macht, 55, of Eatonton passed away at her residence on Friday, April 15, 2016. Carol was born in Johannesburg, South Africa on December 16, 1960 to Brenda Lewis and the late Konraad Borghart. Carol and her husband Ken have lived in Eatonton for the past two years, having moved here from Maryland. She was an entrepreneur owning an educational consulting company and a floral and heirloom preservation shop, member of the Eastern Star chapter 75 of Maryland, and U. S. Chamber of Commerce. She enjoyed knitting, sewing, quilting and was a multi media artist. The service will be at Lake Oconee Lutheran Church at 11 AM on Saturday, April 23, 2016. Burial will be at Crestlawn Memorial Gardens following the service. She is survived by her loving husband Ken Macht, daughter Julia Macht, sisters Tanya Lingle & husband Richard of Atlanta, Jennifer O’Donnell of Florida, father-in-law Kenneth Macht & step-mother-in-law Kathleen who was the mother she deserved, and several nieces and nephews.
