Patricia Ann Thomas

Patricia Ann Thomas, age 58, died peacefully in her home surrounded by family on April 16, 2016, after bravely fighting a long battle with cancer. Patricia was born in Memphis, TN to the late David Hyatt and loving mother Angelina Hyatt. Patricia's family was her whole world. She lived every day for her loved ones. She loved family get-togethers and having everyone in one place. In her spare time she loved arts and crafts and enjoyed going to the casinos. Patricia graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Memphis and taught several grade levels from 1999-2005. Patricia is survived by her rock, best friend and other half, her loving husband, Tim Thomas of Memphis, TN; four outstanding children: three daughters, Jennifer Horn, Jessica Thomas, and Ashley Thomas, all of Memphis, TN, and a son, Jeremy (Alisha) Horn of Brighton, TN; grandchildren, Zack, Timothy, Elaina, Tyler, Anna, Makayla, Mason, Taniah, and Makara; a great granddaughter, Luna; a brother, David Hyatt and a sister, Teresa Gill, both of Memphis, TN. Besides her immediate children, grandchildren, step grandchildren and great grandchild, Patricia claimed everyone as her own. She was a one-of-a-kind amazing wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She always looked at the glass as half full and always lit up the room with her beautiful smile. She touched so many people with her wide open arms and will forever be missed.
