Jeanette L. Wright, 97, of East Syracuse passed away October 10, 2019. Born in Syracuse on July 31, 1922, she was the daughter of William and Bertha Spier. She was a graduate of East Syracuse High School. Jeanette enjoyed being with her family especially playing ping pong and many other games with them. She was a 72 year member of the Collamer United Church and a member of the Simon Praise VFW Auxiliary . She is predeceased by her husband Chester H. Wright of 68 years; two sisters; and five brothers. Surviving are her children, George W. (Darlene) Wright and Patricia Pease; brother, Frederick W. (Nancy) Spier; grandchildren, Theodore (Anita) Pease, Kevin (Linda) Pease, Pamela (Edward) DeForest, Jennifer (Brendan) Wright and Christine (Ryan) Wright; great grandchildren, Jacalynn, Stephanie, Christopher, Desiree, Devin and Callen; great great grandchildren, Maddisyn, Lukis, Tristan, Ethan and Carson; several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be Monday, October 14 from 2:30 to 4:30 at Collamer United Church, 6865 Fly Road, East Syracuse, NY 13057. A funeral service will follow at the church at 4:30. A burial will be in Collamer Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions in her memory may be made to, Collamer United Church.
