Helen Weingart

Helen Weingart, 95, of Edison, passed away Thursday, October 10, 2019 at Penn Medicine Princeton Medical Center in Plainsboro. Helen worked as a nurse for over 40 years on the maternity ward at Saint Peter's University Hospital in New Brunswick, retiring in 1989. She was a long time parishioner of St. Matthew the Apostle Church, and was involved with the school. She was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed visits by her family and friends. In her spare time, she enjoyed crocheting, reading and especially gardening. Helen was predeceased by her husband, Raymond Weingart Jr.; her parents, Daniel and Mary Rogalcheck; her son, Francis Weingart; her brothers, Joseph, Michael, Peter and John Rogalcheck; and a sister, Mary Caggiano. She is survived by her son, Joseph Weingart and his wife Lynn; daughters, Kathleen Agnese and her late husband Paul Agnese, Jean Marie Nicewicz and her late husband Stanley Nicewicz, Diane Murano and her husband Matthew, and Mary Ann Weingart; along with 14 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Relatives and friends are invited to visit on Thursday, October 17, 2019 from 2-4 & 7-9PM at Boylan Funeral Home, 10 Wooding Avenue, Edison. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, 11AM at St. Matthew the Apostle Church, Edison. Interment will follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery, New Brunswick.
