<p>Sgt. Ralph Neil Armstrong (Retired - RCMP)</p><p><br></p><p>Passed away peacefully at the Brockville General Hospital, Garden Street Site on Thursday, October 10, 2019 at the age of 76 years. Dear son of Elsie (Don Burnett) and the late Ralph Armstrong (Marion deceased). Beloved husband of Marina (Coombs) Armstrong and proud father of David Armstrong and his late wife Deborah Maguire who predeceased him in June 2018. He is survived by three wonderful step-grandchildren Catherine, Michelle and Andrew Maguire. Neil will be sadly missed by sisters Jean Ferguson (Don) and Penny Glendinning (Ed deceased). He will also be remembered by his brother-in-law Fred Coombs (Dawn Greene) and sisters-in-law Jane Levangie (Gilbert deceased) and Heather Coombs-MacCuaig (Glenn). Survived by his nieces Leslie and Jo-Anne Ferguson, Tammy and Kimberly Eliason, Jodi Greene and Maggie Coombs. Also survived by his nephews Shawn Coombs and Tyler MacCuaig. Neil was like a second son to his in-laws Helen and Raymond Coombs who predeceased him.</p><p><br></p><p>A celebration of Neil's life will be held at Irvine Memorial Chapel at Roselawn, 2451 County Road 15, Maitland on Saturday, October 19, 2019 at 11 am with a reception to follow. His family will be available to greet visitors from 10:30 am until the time of the service. </p><p><br></p><p>If wished, donations may be made to the charity of your choice in memory of Neil.
