Martha Foster

FOSTER, Martha. – of Birch Run, age 82, died on Thursday, October 10, 2019 surrounded by loved ones at her residence in Frankenmuth. Funeral services will be held at 1PM Monday, October 14, 2019 at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Birch Run. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Sunday, October 13, 2019 from 12PM until 6PM and on Monday from 12PM until the time of service at 1PM. Cremation will follow with inurnment at a later date in Birch Run Township Cemetery. Martha was born February 11,1937 in Saginaw, Michigan to Robert and Mary (Watz) Taylor. She married Virgil C. Foster on May 19, 1956. He preceded her in death November 12, 2013. Martha enjoyed trips to the casino and cooking – especially Polish food. She had incredible strength and determination with a kind heart and cute smile. She was adored by all who knew her and beloved by her kids. Surviving are: Children: Terri (Roger) Wilson, Steven Foster (fiancée Angela White), and Toni Foster (Renee Pugh); Grandson, Sean Foster; Sister, Evelyn Pomerville; and close friend, Hisako Hardman. Martha was also preceded in death by: Sisters: Rose Leyrer and Helen Mueller; Brother, Robert Taylor.
