Candice Anne Fish Obituary

Candice Anne Fish, of Oklahoma City passed away on Friday, September 13, 2019. She was born January 8, 1975 in Kileen, Texas to Christopher and Karen, where her parents were stationed. At a young age, she moved with her family and grew up in Midwest City. In 1998, she met the love of her life, her husband, James Fish. They were married on May 5, 2000. Candice and James lived happily in Oklahoma City with their three sons. When her boys were young, Candice started substitute teaching and spending time working with the PTA at Barnes Elementary. As years went by, the school realized what an asset Candice was to them and they offered her a position at Barnes. Candice played an important role in many children’s lives at Barnes. She was an even bigger part in the lives of her sons’ friends. Candice’s sisters also considered her to be a second mother to their children. Candice was a proud wife of a firefighter. She knew the importance of that tightly bound family. It takes a strong person to be a spouse of a firefighter and Candice trusted that family to bring James back to her after each shift. Candice is preceded in death by her mother, Karen Boevers. Candice is survived by her husband, James Fish, her sons, Jesse Fish, Avery Boevers and his wife Miranda, grandson Eldon, and son Jacob Fish. Her father, Christopher Boevers. Her sister, Niki Dolney and her husband David, nephew Matthew and his wife Victoria. Her sister Sarah Hainline and her husband Charles, nephews Ethan Fiscus, Tyler Fiscus, and Tripp. Her sister, Denise Boevers. Her brother, Daniel Boevers. And numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
