Phyllis Norwood Morris

Phyllis Norwood Morris, age 66 of Athens, passed away on Friday, September 13, 2019 at her residence. Mrs. Morris was born January 1, 1953 in Limestone County to Charles Edward Norwood and Elizabeth Ann Shelton. Visitation for Mrs. Morris will be Sunday, September 15, 2019 at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held Monday, September 16, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Randy Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Limestone Memorial Gardens. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Larry W. Morris; son, Chad Morris and wife Brandi; grandsons, Logan Morris and Landon Morris; granddaughters, Lauren Morris, Hayley Morris, Hannah Morris, Harleyann Morris and Isabella Pitts; brother, Melvin Norwood and wife Paula; sisters, Iris Johnson and husband Randy and Sylvia Grubbs and husband Ricky. Preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Elizabeth Norwood; son, Cory Morris; brother, Milton Norwood. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She loved her grandkids, her children and her family. Pallbearers are Chad Morris, Logan Morris, Landon Morris, Dennis Norwood, Randall Jackson and Terry Morris.
