Bernice Barber

Surrounded by the love of her family, Bernice passed away peacefully at the John Noble Home Wednesday September 11, 2019 in her 90th year. Beloved wife to Russell and cherished mother to Sandra (Glenn), Randy (Mary), Lori (Rob) and Steve (Bernadette). Bernice will be dearly missed by her grandchildren Scott, Derek, Kailegh, Mattea, Kristy, Alexa, Kayla, Mitchell, Joseph, Olivia and Colton and two great granddaughters Celine and Bianca. Born in Cape Breton, Bernice was predeceased by 8 brothers and sisters and was a special sister in law to Luella, Rita, Carol, Judy, Wilma and Joanne. Beloved aunt “Nic” to many nephews and nieces and life long friend to Shirley and Marge. Those who knew Bernice would say she was a kind hearted, gentle woman who baked amazing brownies and chocolate chip cookies. Thanks to Davis Court and Cockshutt Place staff for the care given to our mom. Family and friends will be received at the Toll Funeral Home, 55 Charing Cross St., Brantford on Saturday, September 14, 2019 from 9-10:30 am. A Funeral Service will follow in the Chapel at 10:30 am.
