LAURA A. GAGNON 1920-2011 Waterville- Laura A. Lorraine Gagnon, 91, of Waterville, passed away Friday October 21, 2011, with her loving family by her side. Laura born in Ashland, Maine on March 20, 1920 to Octave and Helen Landry Rossignol. She was educated in Waterville schools. On June 10, 1939 Laura married Raymond J. Gagnon. Together they owned and operated the Waterville Dairy Service and in August 1961 established the Dairy Cone. Laura and Raymond were happily married for 55 years. Laura was a Child of Mary at Notre Dame Parish and a member of Daughters of Isabella at Sacred Heart Church. She was a devout Catholic, a member of the Corpus Christi Parish and was very well loved and respected by her community. Laura is predeceased by her parents, husband Raymond, son-in-law Steve Shaw, 4 brothers and 6 sisters. She is survived by her sister Alfreida Veilleux of Winslow, two brothers, Jerome Bert Rossignol of Florida and Ronald Rossignol and his wife Shirley of Waterville. She is also survived by her son Roger Gagnon and wife Karen of Gorham and six daughters, Yvette and husband Clayton Paradis , Joan and husband Ronald Laliberte of Waterville, Linda and husband Lionel Fisher of Clinton, Rachel and husband Donald Paradis, Emily and husband Kevin O�Leary of Oakland and Donna Shaw of Florida as well as 19 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to express their gratitude for the loving care given to �Mem� by all her caregivers, who made it possible for her to stay in the comfort of her own home. Family and Friends will gather on Tuesday, October 25th from 2-4 and 7-9 at Gallant Funeral Home 10 Elm Street Waterville, Maine. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, October 26th at Sacred Heart Church, Pleasant Street, Waterville. Burial will follow at St. Francis Catholic Cemetery.
