James “Tracy” Herrin, of Silo, Oklahoma, passed from this life on Tuesday, September 10, 2019 in Durant, Oklahoma at the age of 52. He was born on Sunday, January 15, 1967 in Modesto, California to James Terance Herrin, Sr and Caroline Sue (Pettit). James was a housing contractor and enjoyed riding quads, playing music, farming and traveling. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Granny Herrin, Cowboy and Christine Pettit and grandson Wesley Terance Smith. Survivors include wife Yvette Herrin of Silo, Oklahoma; Parents; grandsons Marcus Ray Smith and Austin Scott Smith of Silo, Oklahoma; granddaughters Hailey Christina Kay Young , Sterling Paige Smith and Illianna Rain Velenciano all of Silo, Oklahoma; great grandson Cooper Ray Patton of Silo, Oklahoma; great granddaughter Brinlee Jade Smith of Silo, Oklahoma; brother Shawn Michael Herrin of California; sisters Jamie Renee’ Herrin of Armstrong, Oklahoma, Terri Lynn Herrin of California and Erica Lyn Buckhanan of Bee, Oklahoma. Cremation services were selected. Arrangements are under the direction of Gordon Funeral Home, 221 N. 3rd, Durant, PH- 580-916-9090, www.gordonfh.com.
