Frank Taylor

Frank J. Taylor III died peacefully surrounded by his family on September 2, 2019 after a 37 year battle with cancer and other health challenges. He was 52 years of age. He was a musician, DJ, Son, Brother, Uncle, Great Uncle, Nephew, and courageous fighter with a love for life. Frank’s passion for life was inspirational. When he was diagnosed with Ewings Sarcoma at age 22, he neither panicked nor gave up. Instead, he was positive about his future and encouraged younger patients to join him in beating the odds. Throughout his life, he would remind people that even if life is not fair, it is still phenomenal. “If you can’t find something to laugh about every day,” he often said, “ Look for it! ” He was an amazing positive person. Frank had immense musical talent. Music and the arts were inherent in his soul. He was a gifted DJ, a jazz player and a lover of opera and organ music. He used his talented ear to edit recordings and create engaging mixes for friends and family. He also had a passion for the craft of moviemaking, assembling a large collection of classic movies. Our courageous warrior had a fierce love of community. Family and friends gave him strength and joy and encouraged others to live into his ethos. _______________________________________________________________ Funeral service will be at St. Albans Episcopal on Saturday, September 14 at 10:00 A.M. 3738 Old Sabino Canyon Rd. Frank’s Last Jam: Friday, September 13. Open House for friends and family begins 6:30 P.M.
