Funeral Services for Hilda Jean Thompson Stephens, age 81 of Picayune, MS who passed away Sunday, January 3, 2016, will be held Wednesday, January 6, 2016, at 12:00 pm at First Baptist Church of Carriere. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 6, 2016 from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm at First Baptist Church of Carriere. Burial will be in Carriere Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home. Rev. Ray Taylor will officiate the service. A native of Picayune, MS, she was a Switchboard Technician for Bellsouth for 45 years and an active member of First Baptist Church of Carriere. She was preceded in death by her parents, John Wesley Thompson and Idell Lee Thompson; and her brothers, Herbert Thompson and Ronald Thompson. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Robert "Bob" Stephens; her family and friends.
