Marilyn Johnson
Marilyn Johnson, of Bella Vista, Ark went to be with her Savior, Jesus Christ, on December 11, 2015. She was born January 27, 1946 in Benton, Ark to Chester and Arcie Brown. She received degrees in education at the University of Central Arkansas and the University of Arkansas. She was a teacher for 33 years with many years devoted to children with learning disabilities. She celebrated 50 years of marriage to Jim Johnson on August 15, 2015. She is survived by her husband, Jim; her son, Brad Johnson of Rogers, Ark; her grandsons, James and Parker, her brother Bobby Robinson of Corpus Christi, Texas and her sister Jean Moore of Alamo, Texas. She was an active member of Cross Church of Pinnacle Hills. She was an officer of the Daughters of the American Revolution. Visitation will be held at Benton County Funeral Home, 306 N. 4th, Rogers, Arkansas on December 14th from 6 PM to 8 PM followed by a funeral service conducted by Minister Bob Ryan on December 15 at 10 AM in the chapel of the funeral home.
