Joyce Elaine Crocker

Joyce Elaine Crocker, a long-time resident of Satsuma, AL, passed away suddenly at a local hospital on Thursday, November 12, 2015. Joyce was a longtime member of Satsuma First Baptist Church, where she taught children’s church and was Sunday school teacher for 40 years. She was also a very dedicated 19 year volunteer teaching line dancing classes. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Wade Crocker and her son, Jeffery Wade Crocker. Mrs. Crocker is survived by one son, Jerryl Vincent (LeAnne) Crocker; one daughter, Candace Elaine Crocker Lucas (Mark Phillips), both of Satsuma; seven granddaughters, Cassie LeAnne Crocker (Jared) Alford, Jessica Lucas (Aaron) Peer, Rachel Lee Crocker, Lauren Mackenzie Crocker, Olivia Elaine Crocker, Courtney Laine Lucas and Kylee Ann Lucas; and five great granddaughters, Hartleigh Jade Alford, Davie Lane Alford, Gwynneth Joy Alford, Kayden Peer and Bentleigh Peer. Visitation for Mrs. Crocker will be at Forest Lawn Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 17, 2015 from 9-11 a.m. for the family; and beginning at 11 a.m. for friends. The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Forest Lawn Funeral Home, followed by graveside service in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
